Teak has long been used for decking in marine vessels, being the timber of choice for its high levels of natural oils, making it more resistant to rot and decay. This oil also protects the wood fibres from harsh marine conditions. Through natural weathering and UV light from the sun will fade and make your teak decking turn greyish in colour, losing its bright golden colour from when originally installed. To clean and restore the natural brightness back into your teak decking, AutoSmart has created a two-step cleaning system which contains Step 1 Marine Teak Cleaner and Step 2 Marine Teak Brightener. Marine Teak Cleaner renews your valuable teak, removing stains, greying and old coatings, whilst being gentle on your teak. Cleaning and preparing the surface for Step 2 in the Teak brightening system.
